Utah Valley Photo is a professional photography business run by Charolette Winder. We specialize in weddings, family, and child photography with an occasional commercial or model shoot.
Charolette Winder began her work as an enthusiast in photography in her teen years and further developed her professional skills while working for a newspaper. Upon her graduation from Brigham Young University she began her career as the owner and original founder of Utah Valley Photo.
Although Charolette has had several opportunities to expand Utah Valley Photo she prefers to operate it as a small business. This allows her to work personally with clients to discover their tastes while still allowing her to add her artist’s vision to their photography. It also allows her to spend more time with her family and in serving in her community.
“Although I have all the expensive modern photo equipment and stay on the cutting edge of digital photography, I find that the basics of a great shot have not changed much since my 35 mm camera days. Skills like: knowing how to work with light, helping people feel and look comfortable, and proper balance are what my clients come back to me for and that’s what you should expect from a professional.”
